Basic Training
Basic Training Program consists of Obedience, Force Fetch, and Collar Conditioning. Your dog will be introduced to marks, diversions, gunfire, and decoys on both land and water. Your dog will learn to be steady at this stage. Our training period is from 3 to 5 months depending on the dog. Your dog should be able to achieve a Started (SHR) or Junior Hunter (JH) Title after completing this phase of training.

Transition Training
Transition Training Program consists of multiple marks (doubles, triples and long distances), handling drills, simple blinds (sight and cold blinds) on both land and water. Dogs will be introduced to honoring another dog. To train to this level takes 5 to 7 months. After completing this phase the dog should be able to achieve a Seasoned (HR) or Senior Title (SH). This dog will be an excellent hunting dog after this phase of training.

Our Facility
Our kennel building is 60’ X 30’ metal building with two metal roofed lean-to’s that are 14 and 16 feet wide that house 25 concrete runs with either 10 foot or 12 foot kennels. Each dog has his or her own kennel and barrel. The runs are connected to a drainage system for cleanliness. We have a six hole dog trailer, with fans and water that we use when we travel to hunt tests. We now have a Mini-truck to transport dog to all of our local training fields.
