Smoke is one of our foundation dogs. He is 14 years old. He received his Started title at 12 months, his Hunting Retriever title at 18 months and his HRCH title at 24 months. He has a WC and WCX title(s). He also has a Senior Hunter title. He is a great family dog, companion and outstanding hunting dog. He sired numerous puppies including (2) Grand Hunting Retriever Champion, (2) Master Hunters, (4) with HRCH Titles. Several more of his offspring have Hunting Retriever and Junior Hunter Titles to make us very proud of “Smoke”. HRCH Smoke SH is a Grandson to NFC, NAFC, AFC, FC Candlewood’s SuperTanker and 2 X NAFC, AFC, MD’s Cotton Pickin’ Cropper

Maggie is eight years old and the granddaughter of 3 X NFC Candlewood’s Tanks A Lot. Maggie received her Started Title at

11 months old, and  her Hunting Retriever Title at  2 years old. She is also a great family dog, companion and hunting dog. Maggie has  had one litter of puppies. Her pups have turned out to be great hunting dogs and Hunt Test competitors.
 

Abby is 6 years old. She is the daughter of  FC AFC Teddy’s Ebonstar James. Abby received her SHR title at 9 months old , her HR title at 3 years old. She is full drive and desire. She is a great family dog and hunting companion.  Abby is OFA-ed (Good) Hips & Elbows, CERF-ed (clear/normal) CNM-Cleared (On the White pages). HR Abby has now been cleared for EIC . HR Abby has had two litters. Six of her seven pups have their SHR titles and (3) of those now have their Hunting Retriever Titles at 17 months old.and (1) HRCH Title. We are very proud of HR Abby and all of her pups. They all are doing a great job, much like their Sire and Dam (GRHRCH  UH Dakota’s Pepper MH and HR Abby).

HR "Cash"  has completed all 4 “legs”of his Started Hunting Retriever Title on 8/23/08.and he completed his Hunting Retriever Title on 05/30/09. He received his HR Title at 21 months old.

He is a big boy (like his Grandfathers, Gumbo of Blackforest and Candlewood's Cash On The Line) but  he's extremely "Fast" for a dog his size and very easy to train. He has a "ton" of drive and desire. "Cash" is now in training for his HRCH Title. Look for "HR Cash" on the Hunt Test Circuit running Finished..
 

Our upcoming "Rock Star" is SHR Dakota’s Hot Shot. "Shooter" is the son of FC AFC Downtown Dusty Brown and HRCH Caire’s Boss Lady Sadie, MH,QAA.

"Shooter" received his SHR Title at Gateway HRC,  Fall 2009. Watch for our Little Rock N Roller "Shooter" running "Seasoned"on the HRC & AKC Hunt Test Circuit early next Spring.

Meet Dakota's Drake, Our New Yellow Male

We purchase Drake from Gordon Prinster,Win Fall Duck Club early last Spring. Although being  new to our web-site, Drake is not new to Dakota Labradors. I trained Drake for Gordon. I always liked Drake and Gordon finally made me an offer I could not refuse. I bought him.

HR Drake is OFA-Excellent, CERF-Clear/Normal, EIC & CNM - Clear.

HR Dakota's Drake ran his 1st HRC "Seasoned Test" late this Spring. He now has Hunting Retriever Tile. Look for HR Drake on the Hunt Test Trail this coming Spring running Finished.

“Cassie"

1995-2007

Cassie was our foundation female. Cassie was the daughter of Candlewoods Cash on the Line. Cassie was a great family dog, companion, mother and hunting dog. She gave us many years of devotion. She is greatly missed by all and can never be truly replaced.

Our newest addition. "Hannah" is out of GRHRCH Dakota's Pepper x Country Club Acres Callie Rose. She is our up and coming star. Watch for her on the hunt test circuit.

Kota is the son of GRHRCH UH Dakota's Pepper and SHR Rainwaters Sin City Vegas. He is only four months old , but sits, stays and is taking hand signals with treats. Hopefully he will be as ambitious as his daddy, grandpa and grandmother. He is co-owned by Carrie Keoneman, ShiAnne Keoneman and us.  Look for him at future hunt tests.

HRCH Ruby Tuesday is our newest addition. She is a 55 lb fireball and a little lover. Ruby was trained by J Paul Jackson and became available in May. We are thrilled to have added a Finished dog to our kennel. Watch for her and Ed on the hunt test circuit. She currently has 135 HRC points. Ed is going to go for the 500 point club with this dog. Ruby is OFA Excellent and EIC clear. Further health clearances are pending.
